Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and transport household and commercial goods
- Protect furniture and belongings by utilizing proper packing techniques and materials
- Assemble and disassemble furniture and equipment as required
- Safely operate moving equipment, including dollies, hand trucks, and ramps
- Communicate with customers professionally and address any concerns or questions
- Follow established moving and safety protocols to ensure the security of the items being moved.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the moving industry is preferred but not required.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work well in a team and follow directions.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
