Missouri Ozarks Community Health is growing! We are currently accepting applications for a full-time NIGHT SHIFT (5:00pm-1:00am Mon-Fri) custodian based out of our Ava clinic, that will also travel to other clinics.
Candidate must be able to perform routine custodial work including, but not limited to cleaning of bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpeted areas, clean spills, perform floor maintenance, inspect and maintain custodial equipment, keep records of work completed, shovel snow, move office furniture, inspect and report work required for maintenance, perform less technical building maintenance, change light bulbs, provide assistance to the staff as necessary with custodial duties and perform other duties as assigned..
Must be available to work evenings/nights and occasional daytime hours and be willing to travel to alternate work locations as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Ability to work independently with little direction.
· Understand the methods, materials, chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment used in cleaning and caring for floors, walls, fixtures, and furniture.
· Understand the equipment, materials and supplies used in building maintenance, the equipment and supplies used to do minor repairs. Operate floor care machines and other custodial tools and equipment properly, safely, and efficiently.
· Know what to do in case of an emergency and basic first aid and applicable safety precautions.
· Understand the direction given regarding all phases of custodial work, read and understand signs, labels, work schedules. Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors and work independently and to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
· The employee must occasionally sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Duties require frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving more than 100 pounds.
· Potential employees will receive and must pass a drug/alcohol screening before employment can begin.
