Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of indoor spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high sanitation standards.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
- Conduct outdoor work tasks like trash removal, outdoor surface cleaning, and maintaining landscaped areas when required.
- Use proper manual handling techniques to lift heavy furniture or equipment safely during deep cleaning or moving tasks.
- Manage floor care routines including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate maintenance products.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are well-maintained, stocked, and used safely following health guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as organizing supplies or coordinating cleaning schedules for multiple locations.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning roles with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures.
- Hands-on experience with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols related to cleaning operations.
- Prior work in hospitality environments such as hotels or serviced residences is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with laundry processes and custodial responsibilities enhances your suitability for this role.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to various environments.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
