Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, loss prevention, and conflict management. The Security Guard will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and respond to incidents promptly to ensure the safety of all individuals on site.
Expected duties may include but are not limited to
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Monitor CCTV
- Monitor fire alarm panel
- Assist clients, customers, employees, visitors, and guests
- Report any suspicious persons, vehicles, packages and/or activities
- Maintain presence in lobby and assist visitors
- Immediate response and assist to emergencies to provide necessary support and contact emergency services when necessary
- Patrol site
- Write incident reports and log book entries
- Protect the client's and company's assets from theft, assault, fire or other safety issues
- Ability to work independently and with other team members
Requirements:
- 2 years security experience
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- Fireguard S95 (preferred)
- CPR & First Aid (preferred)
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Flexible work schedule
- Must be able to work weekends
- Strong and Consistent Work Ethic
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Command of the English language and ability to be clearly understood in English
- Professional Demeanor and Appearance
- 18 years old (or the minimum age required by State)
- Authorized to legally work in the United States
