Requirements
- Serve Safe Certification
- 1-3 years baking experience
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to work late afternoon or night production
- Reliable transportation
- Lift 25-50lbs with the ability to stand long hours
Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of French inspired pastries, including dough lamination, dough fillings, tarts other baked goods, following established recipes and standards
- Package finished products carefully to maintain freshness and presentation for retail and wholesale orders.
- Assist in food production and food preparation tasks to support daily operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in accordance with food safety regulations
- Handle food with proper hygiene practices, ensuring all items meet health standards
Skills
- Proven pastry experience
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in baking techniques
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food industry environment with high attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills to engage positively with clients and team members
- Experience in food production, food preparation, and culinary arts within a restaurant or bakery setting
- Familiarity with packaging processes for retail or wholesale customers
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining high-quality standards
