Seabrook United Methodist Church Children’s Day Out & Preschool is seeking a dependable and caring Preschool Teacher for our school-year program. This position involves leading a classroom of children in a structured, nurturing, and engaging environment. The age range of our program is 18 months-PreK.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons
- Support early literacy, math, and social-emotional development
- Maintain a safe, organized classroom
- Communicate regularly with parents and staff
- Incorporate faith-based learning and character development
- Keep daily records and follow state licensing guidelines
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Previous experience in a preschool setting preferred
- Strong classroom management skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass background check
Schedule:
- Weekdays, August through May
- Hours based on program needs
