When you join us as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
You Will:

Performs high quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care.

Assures proper dose of radionuclides are ordered for each patient.

Starts intravenous lines or performs straight stick venipuncture for isotope injection.

Administers radionuclide in a safe and effective manner.

Explains test procedures and safety precautions to patients, guiding them through a sometimes difficult process by gently talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.

Monitors patients’ well- being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.

Maintains a nuclear medicine information system for all patient dosing, calibration, receiving and disposition, and all regulatory reports required by the RAM license.

Under the direction of the radiologist, administers radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.

Demonstrates a high level of competency and ensures team members are safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.

Responsible for safeguarding on-site medications following Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements and ensures employee adherence to on-site medication policies

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

Must have current ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification.

State Nuclear Medicine License.

Must have experience working in a high-volume setting.

Requires a high school diploma or GED.

Must have BLS certification

Pay Range: $40.00 - $50.00 / Hourly
