2. Position Overview
Seeking a Full-time Sleep Technician / Sleep Technologist to perform overnight sleep studies and provide quality patient care.
Schedule: Weekend Night Shifts
3. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for overnight sleep studies.
- Review patient history and physician orders.
- Set up and calibrate sleep monitoring equipment.
- Apply electrodes and sensors per AASM standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot sleep studies.
- Collect sleep, respiratory, cardiac, and neurological data.
- Perform PAP mask fitting and troubleshooting.
- Score and analyze sleep-related events.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Follow safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
4. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Polysomnography Program.
- Current New York PSG License or RRT License.
- Current BLS/CPR Certification.
- Required vaccinations and health clearances.
- Strong technical and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
5. Education
- Completion of an accredited Polysomnography Program.
6. Certifications
- BLS/CPR Certification required.
- RPSGT credential preferred.
- RRT with SDS credential preferred/accepted.
7. Preferred Qualifications
- RPSGT certification.
- RRT with Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential.
- Overnight sleep study experience.
- PAP titration and mask-fitting experience.
- Sleep study scoring experience.
- Knowledge of AASM guidelines and practices.

Pay: $40.00 - $53.00 per hour
