Compassionate ABA & Therapeutic Services is growing, and we're looking for an experienced ABA Billing Specialist to join our team! If you are detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong understanding of ABA billing, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Submit and manage ABA insurance claims accurately and timely.
- Monitor claim status, denials, and payment posting.
- Follow up on outstanding claims and appeals.
- Verify authorizations and ensure services align with approved units.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Collaborate with our clinical and administrative teams to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain payer requirements and ensure timely reimbursement.
Minimum Qualifications (Required)
- At least 1 year of hands-on ABA medical billing experience (required).
- Experience using Rethink (required).
- Experience using Tebra/Kareo (required).
- Experience with Availity and payer portals (required).
- Strong knowledge of ABA CPT codes, authorizations, and insurance billing processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
