At The Party Staff, our events shine because of what happens behind the scenes. We’re hiring experienced Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to support our Back-of-House teams. From corporate dining to high-profile events, you’ll work alongside chefs to prep, cook, and deliver great food while keeping the kitchen running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
Cook with Precision
- Prepare ingredients, follow prep lists, and complete recipes to client standards
- Work grill, sauté, fry, and cold prep stations during service
- Maintain portion control, food quality, and presentation standards
- Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures
Support the Kitchen Team
- Assist chefs with production for banquets and catering
- Keep stations stocked, organized, and service-ready
- Jump in on dishwashing and cleanup as needed to keep operations moving
Set Up & Break Down Like a Pro
- Help set up stations before service
- Break down and sanitize stations after events
- Properly store food, equipment, and supplies
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ months of experience as a prep cook or line cook in a commercial kitchen (banquet, catering, hotel, or corporate dining experience required)
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment
- Ability to follow recipes and prep lists under time constraints
- Comfortable working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation to assignments across Los Angeles County
- Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Team-first attitude — willing to support both prep and cleanup tasks
