Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Take accurate breakfast orders while upselling menu items such as specialty coffees, cocktails, or premium ingredients to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Use POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and timely delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic culinary duties.
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish.
Qualifications
- Must be 19 or older
- Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy breakfast hours.
- Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktails, and upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and sales transaction processing.
