Our busy True Value Hardware & Lumber store is seeking a qualified candidate to work as a Retail/Cashier/Customer Service Associate in our in our Westfield, NY location.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist customers as they enter our store.
- Stock product.
- Organize stock rooms.
- Help keep store neat and clean.
- Use Cash Register and provide customers with courteous and efficient checkout service.
- Maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise. Complete resets and revisions as directed.
- Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior Retail experience.
- Cashier experience.
- Knowledge of Hardware and Building Materials a PLUS!
- Should be able to calculate figures and amounts and apply basic concepts of math.
- Must have basic knowledge of computers.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
- Flexible hours of availability are required (includes weekends and holidays) due to the demands of the retail environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
