SASP School is looking for a driven and hardworking educator to join our team. We are looking for a teacher who can engage our Preschool 3 and 4 year old students with hands-on learning and share their passion for education. This is for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
Job Summary:
Teach and act in accordance with the Catholic doctrinal and moral teachings of the Catholic Church
Prepare lesson and unit plans in alignment with the CCSS
Communicate frequently and effectively with parents via email and Class Dojo
Build and maintain a strong classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the success of our school mission
Actively participate in staff meetings, professional learning community, and professional development
Ability to engage in self-evaluation about performance and professional growth
Perform and follow school policies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited College or University (required)
IL Professional Educator License
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently move, stand, and lift up to 10 pounds. As well as be able to walk up and down steps several times each day and physically respond quickly in an emergency.
