This hybrid role involves working both independently and alongside our construction teams to deliver safe, code-compliant electrical systems. Diagnose and repair electrical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
Perform installations including panel upgrades, circuit additions, outlets, switches, lighting, GFCIs, and code-compliance corrections.
Communicate effectively with homeowners about findings and solutions.
Install and maintain electrical systems in commercial spaces, including offices and light industrial buildings.
Interpret and execute work from blueprints, schematics, and code specifications.
Install lighting systems, conduit runs, panels, feeders, and terminations.

Test and maintain electrical systems in both residential and commercial settings.
Replace defective components like outlets, switches, ballasts, and motors.
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.

Mentor apprentices and junior electricians.
Review installation quality and assist with complex troubleshooting.
Support coordination with project managers, GCs, and inspectors.

Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used.
Uphold clean, safe, and organized work environments.
Maintain valid licenses and certifications.
Valid Michigan Electrical License
Master Electrical License preferred
Residential Builders License preferred
6+ years of professional electrical experience across residential and/or commercial environments.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and code documents.
Strong understanding of safety standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Excellent communication skills and reliable transportation (or ability to operate a company vehicle if provided).
Experience supervising crews or mentoring apprentices.
Experience with generators, lighting controls, motors, or basic low-voltage systems.
Familiarity with writing service tickets or assisting with estimates.
