Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team and drive excellence in maintaining and troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment. Duties
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment including hydraulics, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Conduct detailed diagnostics using schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of equipment failures.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, maintenance history, and asset management activities.
- Support customer service initiatives by providing technical assistance and solutions directly at client sites.
- Assist in the training of team members on mechanical repairs, electrical diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and maintenance procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience working within manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a focus on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and engineering troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with, pneumatic troubleshooting, and industrial mechanics.
- Ability to read engineering schematics and electrical blueprints accurately.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to deliver effective solutions under tight deadlines.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by industrial electrician experience and familiarity with high voltage/high voltage safety standards.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork.
- Additional assets include experience working with low voltage systems, troubleshooting pneumatic systems, or using precision measuring instruments like ammeters or ohmmeters.
