Mechanical Design and Project Manager – Plastic Welding & FabricationAbout Plastek Werks
Plastek Werks is a leader in custom thermoplastic fabrication, plastic welding, and environmental containment systems. For more than 30 years, we have designed and manufactured high-performance plastic equipment for customers across North America. Our products are used in demanding industrial and environmental applications where durability, chemical resistance, and precision matter.
We are known for our expertise in full penetration plastic welding, custom fabrication, and solving complex engineering challenges. If you enjoy designing products that are actually built, tested, and installed—not just modeled on a computer—we'd love to talk with you.
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. This is a hands-on engineering position where you'll be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle—from concept and design through manufacturing and production support.
Working closely with our fabrication shop, welders, machinists, and project managers, you will develop custom equipment, optimize manufacturing processes, create production documentation, and improve the efficiency of our operations.
Experience with thermoplastics is a plus but not required. We are looking for an engineer with strong mechanical design skills who enjoys solving real manufacturing challenges.
