Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Print Bindery Operator to join our vibrant printing team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the finishing processes that bring printed materials to life, ensuring high-quality standards are met with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help transform raw printed sheets into polished, professional products ready for distribution.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor bindery equipment such as folding machines, cutting presses, and binding lines to ensure smooth workflow and optimal output.
- Set up and adjust machinery for different print jobs according to job specifications.
- Perform quality control checks throughout the finishing process, inspecting for color consistency, proper alignment, and overall finish quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to manufacturing safety protocols and conducting routine equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines while ensuring the highest standards in print advertising materials and packaging.
- Qualifications
- Prior experience in print finishing operations such as binding, cutting, or folding.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely is a plus.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures specific to print production and finishing processes.
