Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of bubble tea beverages, coffee drinks, and snacks with accuracy and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and providing personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food handling, preparation areas, and the café environment
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with attention to detail using basic math skills for transactions and register balancing
- Support food service operations by restocking supplies, preparing ingredients, and ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Uphold health regulations by adhering to proper food safety procedures and sanitation practices at all times
Qualifications
- Previous barista or food service experience in a café or retail setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Chowbus POS or Clover POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety protocols, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic understanding of the food industry standards for serving beverages and light food items
