Junk Tigers Hauling & Demolition
Orange County / San Diego County, CA
Hybrid / Field-Based / Remote Admin Work
Job Type: Full-Time (will consider Part-Time)
Pay: $55,000–$57,000 per year, plus commission and performance bonuses
About Us
Junk Tigers Hauling & Demolition is a licensed demolition and hauling contractor serving Orange County, San Diego County, and the greater Southern California area. We work with general contractors, remodelers, developers, restoration companies, property managers, HOAs, and commercial clients on residential and commercial demolition, tenant improvement demo, site-prep, cleanout, hauling, and debris removal projects.
We are growing our contractor and commercial pipeline and are looking for a motivated Business Development / Account Manager to help us build relationships, generate new bid opportunities, and help close more demolition and hauling projects.
The Role
This is a business development, lead generation, and account management role. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, reaching out to decision-makers, getting Junk Tigers added to subcontractor and vendor bid lists, finding upcoming project opportunities, and helping move qualified opportunities through the sales process.
This is not just a cold outreach role. We are looking for someone who can build relationships, follow up consistently, coordinate bid opportunities, and stay involved until the job is awarded.
Final estimating and pricing approval will remain with ownership, but your role will be to help create new opportunities, follow up on proposals, and move qualified leads toward closed work.
What You’ll Do
Build and manage targeted lists of general contractors, remodelers, developers, restoration companies, property managers, HOAs, commercial clients, and other construction-related businesses in Orange County, San Diego County, and Southern California.
Send professional outbound emails introducing Junk Tigers and our demolition and hauling services.
Follow up by phone with contractors, estimators, project managers, property managers, and other decision-makers.
Ask to be added to subcontractor, vendor, and bid lists.
Identify upcoming demolition, cleanout, tenant improvement, remodel, site-prep, and hauling opportunities.
Coordinate with ownership on walkthroughs, project details, photos, plans, and bid requests.
Follow up after proposals are sent to help move opportunities toward award.
Maintain relationships with contractors and commercial clients for repeat work.
Track outreach activity, contact information, responses, qualified opportunities, proposal status, and job status in a simple CRM or tracker.
Work directly with ownership to help grow the company’s contractor and commercial client base.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in business development, sales, account management, construction sales, contractor/vendor relationships, cold outreach, or appointment setting.
Construction, demolition, hauling, restoration, junk removal, property management, subcontractor, or home services experience is a plus.
Strong written communication skills and the ability to write clear, professional emails.
Comfortable making outbound calls and following up consistently.
Able to build relationships with general contractors, estimators, remodelers, property managers, and commercial clients.
Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Comfortable with steady outreach, follow-up, and relationship-building.
Motivated by performance-based compensation and the opportunity to grow with the company.
Compensation
This role includes a base salary plus performance-based upside.
Compensation includes:
Base salary of $55,000–$57,000 per year, depending on experience.
Commission on collected gross profit from closed jobs that come from new accounts you source and help manage through the sales process.
Performance bonuses for qualified bid opportunities, contractor meetings, walkthroughs, vendor list additions, or other agreed-upon sales activity.
Commission eligibility applies to qualified new accounts that are properly logged in the company tracker and result in closed, paid work within the agreed commission window.
A ramp-up guarantee may be available during the first few months while your pipeline is being built.
Part-time candidates with strong construction, contractor, or business development experience may also be considered.
