Ram-Tech Construction is seeking a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic team. This position involves operating a company-provided truck to transport equipment and materials to various job sites in South Florida—while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with state and local laws.
- Transporting equipment and materials using a company-provided truck to various job sites.
- Follow traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations at all times.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks to maintain optimal vehicle performance.
- Respond quickly to traffic changes or emergencies using emergency response procedures for transportation.
- Respond promptly to emergency stop procedures or unexpected situations to ensure passenger safety and security.
Experience
- Proven experience driving commercial vehicles is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures for transportation incidents is essential.
- Multilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse communities effectively.
- Valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations at the state and local levels.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to respond quickly to traffic changes or emergencies under pressure.
- Must be authorized for employment in the United States.
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
