About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Cutting Tool Technician to regrind, recondition, and manufacture cutting tools to precise specifications. Responsibilities
- Execute grinding operations according to work instructions to produce high-quality cutting tools.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tools using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Set up and adjust grinding machines to optimize performance and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and tooling inventory.
- Collaborate with the shop supervisor to address any issues or concerns.
- Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Support the company culture by promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in basic math skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with tool inspection techniques.
- Prior experience in CNC tool grinding.
- Familiarity with various cutting tool materials and geometries.
- Ability to train others on grinding procedures.
