Day and Night Shift, Doubles Hazmat CDL A Driver in Price, UT. Home Daily | Local Routes
- Pay Per Load ($100,000 - $120,000 per year)
- Full-Time
- 4 days on / 2 days off, rotating days
Work Location: 3321 Soldier Creek Rd, Price, UT 84501
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-shift vehicle and equipment inspections, and take appropriate action on encountered problems
- Utilize any on-board computer terminals to accurately record locations visited and products handled and ensure any additional paperwork is complete, neat, and legible
- Report incidents (operational and/or safety-related), as instructed, in a timely manner
- Contain and report any spill according to the established Occurrence Reporting procedures
- Take an active role in our safety program, including attendance at all safety meetings and ensuring safe behaviors of self and subordinates

Job Requirements
- Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker and doubles endorsement
- 6 months of CDL A experience within the past 2 years required.
- 1+ year of CDL Experience, preferably in crude/petrol
- A commitment to work without an occurrence; no spills, no injuries and no property damage
- Can successfully pass Savage’s road test, which will include a proper pre- and post-trip inspection of the vehicle
- Comfortable working in an oilfield environment, including climbing ladders and stairs to the top of tanks, and working around flammable gases and other toxic fumes
- Must be willing to work days/nights/holidays
- High School Diploma/GED
Physical Requirements
- Climb into and out of the cab multiple times per shift
- Standing, walking, handling hoses, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing
- Apply snow chains to tires
- Climb ladders and work at heights when needed
- Lift 50+ pounds occasionally
- Work and drive in adverse weather conditions
