QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED;
Valid Texas Peace Officer’s license from TCOLE is required;
General knowledge of criminal investigation, police report writing, and criminal laws
Training in subduing offenders, including use of firearms and handcuffs
Valid Texas driver’s license
Background in law enforcement or related work experience
Must have thorough knowledge of the family code as it relates to juveniles
Must possess the ability, patience, and appropriate attitude to impact safety, order and discipline by interacting with students and employees of TISD.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Provide for the safety of all students, faculty, and staff and the security of all district and campus property and equipment.
