Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who combines strong administrative skills with the ability to help maintain professional business relationships. This unique position supports our Liens Department while also assisting with business development.
The ideal candidate has experience working with law firms, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, or medical-legal service providers and understands how referral relationships are developed and maintained. Responsibilities
- Scan, organize, and maintain medical records and related documentation.
- Process internal requests for medical records and assist with release-of-information functions.
- Support the Liens Department by providing timely assistance to referring sources, patients, providers, and legal offices.
- Professionally communicate with attorneys, insurance representatives, and other external partners regarding records and documentation requests.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and Nevada privacy laws.
Skills
- One to two years of recent administrative, healthcare, legal, insurance, or medical-legal experience preferred.
- Experience working with IMEs, workers' compensation, personal injury, defense law firms, insurance carriers, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning CRM software.
- Professional, dependable, and committed to providing outstanding customer service.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and Nevada privacy laws (training provided as needed).
