THE OPPORTUNITY
As an HVAC Install Tech Lead at Comfort by Design, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality residential HVAC installations. You'll lead installation projects, mentor other technicians, and ensure every system is installed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced installer who is ready to take the next step in their career and become a leader in the field.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish
- Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and other HVAC equipment
- Lead, train, and mentor installation helpers and apprentices
- Ensure installations meet company quality standards and applicable codes
- Troubleshoot installation issues and make recommendations for proper solutions
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and answer questions about their new systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Complete installation paperwork and job documentation accurately
- Work closely with the team to ensure a smooth and professional customer experience
WHAT YOU BRING
- 4+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Previous lead installer or crew lead experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC installation, equipment, and best practices
- EPA certification is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lead a team and work independently
- Valid driver's license and commitment to professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
