Dishwasher/Prep Worker

Rumson Country Club is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Prep Worker to join our culinary team. This is a year-round opportunity with room for growth and advancement within the organization.
Schedule
- Thursday through Sunday
- 4:00 PM until close (typically between 10:30 PM and 11:30 PM)
- Flexible scheduling may be available
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the dishwashing area ("Dish Pit")
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Keep kitchen and work areas clean, organized, and sanitary
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors
- Remove garbage and recycling throughout shifts
- Assist with deep cleaning and scrubbing of kitchen equipment and surfaces
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation, including peeling and preparing vegetables such as carrots, onions, and potatoes
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with other kitchen-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is helpful but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- $17.00 - $19.00 per hour, based on experience
