Part-Time Photographer – Artistic School Portraits (Charlotte Area)
Pay: $30-$35/hr | Part-Time | Contract | Weekday Mornings and some afternoons - MUST PROVIDE A LINK TO YOUR WORK!
Do you love photographing kids and creating authentic, artistic images? We’re hiring experienced part-time photographers to shoot outdoor school portraits in and around Charlotte.
We are not your average school photography company. At St. John Photography, we focus on capturing natural, emotive, and artful images of children—especially through our signature Playground Candids. (Take a look: www.stjohnphotography.com)

We’re Looking For:
- Experienced photographers (minimum 2 years shooting kids, families, high-school seniors or weddings)
- A natural with children—fun, engaging, a bit goofy in the best way!
- Proficiency shooting in manual mode (not just auto!)
- Ownership of professional gear:
- DSLR or mirrorless camera (Canon, Nikon, Sony) with at least 25MP
- Zoom lens up to 200mm or longer
- Speedlight flash (shoe-mounted)
Requirements to Apply:
✅ Must be available 3–5 mornings per week, Monday–Friday
✅ Must provide a link to your portfolio featuring kids and/or family photography
✅ Must love what you do—and it shows in your work
