Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic construction teams. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in various welding techniques and ability to interpret technical schematics will be essential to ensure high-quality results that meet industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from pipeline installations to fire sprinkler fitting, contributing to vital infrastructure and building systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, and other specialized welding techniques to join metal components accurately.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding specifications and procedures.
- Prepare materials using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precise fabrication.
- Cut, bend, assemble, and install piping systems for plumbing, HVAC, or pipeline projects following ASME codes & standards.
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, schematics, and visual checks to verify weld integrity and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean work environment on construction sites or manufacturing facilities while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with rigging, tube bending, soldering, and maintenance tasks as needed for project completion.
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding across various techniques including MIG, FCAW, TIG, and fire sprinkler fitting.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, tube bending, assembly processes, and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with ASME codes & standards related to pipeline fabrication and construction.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, schematics reading devices, and basic math skills for measurements.
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety and quality control.
- Ability to perform welding in <LOCATION> specific conditions while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Welder Certification Required
