Sunrise Education Center is now hiring a dynamic and experienced Assistant Teacher for our Preschool classroom in Detroit, MI!
Some of the duties include but are not limited to the following:
Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all children
- Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
- Implementing lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children
Requirements:
An associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education OR an associate’s degree or a bachelor’s degree with 12 Early Childhood Education credits completed
- 2 years of verifiable and relevant experience
- A passion for early childhood education and a desire to work in a growing field
- A reliable vehicle with insurance - must be able to drive on your own
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
