Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Hours are in the morning/afternoon/nights
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation.
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen sanitation as needed to maintain health and safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns or special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests.
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen sanitation practices.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
