Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Comptroller to lead our financial management and accounting functions. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls to ensure the organization’s financial health and integrity. The Comptroller will drive accurate financial analysis, manage regulatory reporting, and ensure adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and other relevant standards. Duties
The Comptroller is responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining the accounting and budgetary processes for the Gila River Farms to include operating and capital budgets; and is responsible for the oversight of all financial operations, including accounts payable, payroll, purchasing, fixed assets, cash, and investment management, financial reporting, financial strategy development, planning and administrative management. This position develops and maintains financial policies and internal controls. Recommends short and long range financial plans and provides analysis of operations. Manages capital improvement projects with available financial resources. Provides reports to the General Manager, Farm Board, Committees, and Gila River Community Council when assigned.
Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
