Qualifications
Current AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required.
HCC (Hierarchical Condition Category/Risk Adjustment) coding experience required.
Must reside in Florida.
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines and documentation requirements.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Review medical records and accurately assign ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes in accordance with HCC/Risk Adjustment guidelines.
Ensure documentation supports all assigned codes and identify opportunities for documentation improvement.
Maintain coding accuracy while meeting established quality and productivity standards.
Stay current on coding guideline updates and payer requirements.
Collaborate with leadership and team members to support coding quality and compliance.
Salary Range: $58,000 - $70,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
