Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Live-In Nanny to provide exceptional care and support for children within a warm, nurturing private home environment. This role offers the unique opportunity to live on-site, ensuring the children’s needs are met with enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, personalized care for children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote development, learning, and fun
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs and preferences
- Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, nap times, and diapering for infants and toddlers
- Support educational activities by engaging in teaching moments and supervising homework or preschool tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment through residential housekeeping tasks including laundry, tidying up play areas, and light cleaning
- Offer personal transportation assistance for school runs, appointments, or outings as needed
- Administer basic first aid and CPR in case of emergencies while following safety protocols diligently
- Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in caregiving approaches and communicate regularly about children’s progress and needs
- Care for children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing tailored support
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups, especially in nannying or private home childcare settings
- Demonstrated experience caring for multiple children simultaneously with patience and efficiency
- Strong background in toddler care and preschool activities
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; can complete after accepting role
- Ability to assist with meal preparation that aligns with nutritional guidelines for children
- Excellent organizational skills to manage household chores alongside childcare responsibilities
- Valid driver's license to assist with errands, activities, school pickups/drop-offs
- Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to caregiving and household management
