Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)
Recovery 180 – Addiction Treatment Center
Recovery 180 is seeking a compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team. This role plays an important part in supporting individuals on their recovery journey by providing daily supervision, encouragement, and assistance within our treatment program.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and supervision to clients in a substance use recovery program
- Assist with medication management, including observing and documenting medication administration in accordance with program policies
- Monitor client activities and maintain a safe, structured environment
- Assist clients with daily routines and program expectations
- Observe and document client behavior and progress
- Support clinical staff in implementing treatment plans
- Conduct room checks, rounds, and drug screenings as needed
- Respond appropriately to client needs and emergencies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or human services preferred
- Proficient with computers and electronic documentation systems (EHR/EMR)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
