Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of salads, dressings, and garnishes with precision and consistency.
- Follow established recipes and menu plans to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salad station, adhering to food safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in meal preparation and food handling for other dietary or kitchen needs as required.
- Ensure proper knife skills are used for slicing, dicing, and chopping ingredients efficiently.
- Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of salad items.
- Serve salads to guests or team members promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and taste.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Experience with menu planning and food preparation in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated culinary experience with excellent knife skills and meal preparation techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with catering, serving, and food industry best practices is a plus.
