Speech-Language Pathologist (Part-Time) Job Overview
Heart to Heart & Associates is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, clinic-based environment serving children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, apraxia of speech, developmental delays, and other communication disorders.
The ideal candidate is passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy while partnering with families and other clinicians to help children reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique needs.
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to pediatric clients.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, occupational therapists, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate and support caregivers to promote skill development outside of therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Current New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply if supervision is available.
- Experience working with pediatric clients is preferred.
- Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
