American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract in Peoria, IL, requiring a minimum of one year of nursing experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Position is in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU/ACU) setting
-
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)

Weekend shifts on a rotation basis

Holiday shifts on a rotation basis

May be required to float to other facilities within the Carle Health system
-
Active Illinois RN license in good standing required (temp license accepted)
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required

Minimum one (1) year of ICU or relevant nursing experience required

ASN required; BSN preferred
-
Epic EMR experience required

Responsibilities include completing patient admissions assessments, developing and modifying individualized plans of care, implementing nursing interventions, and maintaining accurate documentation

Actively participates in safety reporting, peer feedback, and ongoing professional development

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract

Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at any Carle Health location for more than one year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning
