Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents.
- Implement and adhere to cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met.
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently.
- Handle manual lifting and outdoor work safely when moving furniture, equipment, or heavy supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques.
- Use janitorial tools and cleaning supplies responsibly while ensuring all surfaces are sanitized thoroughly.
- Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific needs or preferences, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments, including janitorial or custodial roles.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and the proper use of cleaning equipment and detergents.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during routine tasks.
- Skilled in floor cleaning techniques such as vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and carpet care.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled timeframes.
- Experience with laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal.
- Exceptional customer service skills with clear communication abilities for client interaction.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas or outdoor furniture.
