What You'll Do
As an In-Home Solar Sales Consultant, you'll meet with homeowners to educate them on the benefits of solar and help them choose the best energy solution for their home.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Travel to scheduled appointments with qualified homeowners
- Conduct professional in-home solar consultations
- Deliver engaging solar presentations
- Analyze homeowners' current energy usage and savings opportunities
- Recommend customized solar solutions
- Close residential solar sales
- Build trust through professionalism and integrity
- Maintain accurate customer records using our CRM
- Continue developing product knowledge and sales skills
Compensation
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity.
Compensation includes:
- Uncapped commission
- Average commission of $1,500–$3,000 per sale
- Performance and volume bonuses
- Standard of at least 8 sales per month
- Six-figure annual income potential for high performers (not guaranteed)
The harder you work, the more you earn—there are no caps on your income.

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- At least 18 years old
- Eligible to work in the United States
Sales experience is preferred but not required. We provide comprehensive training for the right candidates.
Your First 30 Days
Every new consultant completes our structured onboarding and training program.
During your first month, you'll receive hands-on coaching in:
- Solar product knowledge
- In-home sales presentations
- Customer communication
- Closing techniques
- CRM systems
- Field training alongside experienced leaders
