Duties
- Operate industrial laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and specialty equipment for dry cleaning when applicable.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels
- Ensure all laundry items meet quality standards by inspecting for stains, damages, or irregularities before distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low.
- Support guest requests promptly by providing clean linens or clothing items as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and proper handling techniques for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in laundry services, hotel housekeeping, or related hospitality roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, stain removal, and dry cleaning techniques.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of linen and clothing presentation.
- Ability to operate commercial laundry machinery safely and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary.
