Jack’s Ornamental Iron, specializing in steel solutions for stairs, railings, and heavy-duty fencing for commercial projects, large apartments, and multi-story units, is seeking a proactive Senior Project Manager who is a master of both technical steel execution and assertive project leadership. This is a role for a proven expert in construction workflows who lives to translate scopes of work into detailed action lists and stays two steps ahead on every project. As a Senior PM, you will take ownership of every detail until the job is done right, continually looking for new, efficient processes to streamline work while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, quality, and safety. Each day, you will manage complex projects by combing through plans, RFIs, and crucial documentation, anticipating risks, and facing challenges head-on in an organized, well-thought-out manner. We need a clear, concise communicator with a win-win mindset who can solve problems and negotiate high-stakes, high-emotion situations with GCs, internal management, and field crews. If you have an "old school" work ethic where nothing stands in your way, please read on.
Our Management Team searches for "Ideal Team Players" who embody three core traits that drive our success:
- Hungry: You are self-driven, proactively seeking solutions before problems escalate and constantly looking for ways to improve efficiency
- Humble: You prioritize the team’s success above individual recognition. You are coachable and quick to own mistakes, yet possess the backbone to "hold the line" when quality or safety is compromised.
- People-Smart: You possess high emotional intelligence. You know how to manage conflict, say "no" effectively when necessary, and navigate high-stakes negotiations with GCs and field crews without burning bridges.
We believe in a hard day's work and pride ourselves in being the preferred choice to deliver high quality, on-time steel work that our customers deserve and demand. We work hard Monday through Friday and believe in loving where you work and the people you work with every day.
