Bus drivers for the Moscow School District must have the following qualifications:
1. Must meet acceptable motor vehicle records review criteria.
2. Be able to qualify for a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with school bus ("S") and passenger ("P") endorsements, and no air brake restriction within 2 weeks of hire. Moscow School District will train for licensing.

All drivers subject to CDL requirements are also required to participate in a controlled-substance and alcohol-testing program. These requirements include random, reasonable suspicion, post accident, return-to-duty, and follow-up testing for controlled substances and alcohol. Pre-employment controlled substance testing is also required. If hired, a D.O.T. physical is required. A criminal history check including fingerprinting is also required at the employee's expense.
