Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures using POS systems and cash handling techniques
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the fitness floor, equipment, and common areas to ensure a safe environment
- Monitor activity on the floor to enforce safety protocols, resolve conflicts, and promote respectful guest interactions
- Support event management by setting up equipment, managing guest flow during classes or special activities, and assisting with outdoor or indoor events
- Respond promptly to emergencies by administering first aid or CPR when necessary, following established safety procedures
- Assist with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of equipment or supplies to ensure proper technique and injury prevention
Qualifications
- Previous experience in event venue management, hospitality, retail sales, or food service is highly desirable
- Knowledge of safety protocols including first aid, CPR, and lifeguard experience preferred
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Experience working with children or in outdoor work environments is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and processing transactions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and clear communication abilities
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Basic math skills for transaction processing and record keeping
- Prior experience in resort settings or theater environments is advantageous
