Job Summary:
Our HVAC Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining and optimizing residential HVAC systems to ensure efficiency, reliability, and longevity. This technician will work exclusively within Babcock Ranch after a 6-10 week training in our main location in Fort Myers FL, to provide consistent, high-quality service to a dedicated customer base.
Technicians in this role are expected to:
- Perform thorough preventative maintenance
- Identify potential issues before they become major repairs
- Educate customers on system condition and recommendations
- Build trust and long-term customer relationships
- Contribute to department revenue through maintenance findings and recommendations
Job Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems including air handlers, ductwork, condensers, and related components
- Clean and inspect systems, including coils, air handling units, and drainage systems
- Ensure condensation drain lines are clear and functioning properly
- Monitor and calibrate HVAC systems for optimal performance
- Identify wear and potential failure points and recommend solutions
- Track maintenance and work completed in ServiceTitan
- Engage with customers to explain system condition, maintenance performed, and recommended services or upgrades
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and safety standards
Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of HVAC experience (maintenance or service) preferred
- ServiceTitan experience preferred
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Solid decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Adaptability to changing priorities, schedules, and requirements
- Google Workspace or Microsoft Office experience required
- Proficiency with documents and spreadsheets required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Background and Drug Screening required prior to employment
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday (weekend rotation required)
