CARE 4 ALL seeks full-time skilled Respiratory Therapists to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings, including in-home, on-site, and in-office care of patients' needs. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for the setup and operation of CPAPS, BIPAPS, ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and nebulizers. Respiratory Therapists will assess, treat, and educate patients with respiratory disorders, ensuring optimal airway management and overall pulmonary health.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Perform airway management techniques for patients in need of assistance.
- Conduct assessments of vital signs and respiratory function to determine patient needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in outpatient and acute care settings to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health, treatment options, and home care strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Stay current with advancements in respiratory therapy practices and medical terminology.
Requirements
- · Valid Respiratory Therapy license or certification as required by state regulations.
- · 1 + years of DME respiratory experience.
- · Strong background in CPAP, BIPAP, and Vent setup and operation.
- · Ability to be on-call nights and weekends.
- · Strong knowledge of physiology related to respiratory function and disorders.
- · Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to respiratory therapy.
- · Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
