Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail applications, nail extensions, and pedicures with precision and care.
- Apply color theory principles to help clients select the perfect shades for their nails and skin tones.
- Conduct esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, and other advanced skin procedures as needed.
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by following sanitation, disinfection procedures, and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and educate on nail care routines.
- Upsell retail products such as nail care items, skincare products, or hair extensions to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Keep all workstations clean, organized, and compliant with disinfection procedures throughout each shift.
Experience
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a cosmetologist or licensed nail technician.
- Knowledge of color theory, nail extensions (including acrylics), gel manicures, and manicure techniques.
- Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation practices, and disinfection procedures essential for healthcare settings.
- Strong client communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Experience performing advanced treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair threading, esthetic laser treatments, or dermabrasion is a plus.
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Certification in cosmetology or related fields required; additional training in medical office procedures is advantageous.
