Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Parts Acquisition Personnel to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for sourcing, managing, and procuring automotive parts and accessories to ensure seamless operations across our service and repair facilities. Your expertise in supply chain management, supplier relations, and inventory control will drive efficiency and support our commitment to delivering exceptional automotive service. Responsibilities
- Source and purchase automotive parts, accessories, and related equipment from various suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage inventory levels through accurate data entry and inventory management systems such as ERP or AS400 platforms.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to oversee shipping, receiving, and storage of parts, maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals while fostering strong supplier relationships.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics and vehicle systems knowledge to identify the right parts for specific vehicle models and repair needs.
- Support demand planning by analyzing usage patterns, forecasting needs, and adjusting procurement strategies accordingly.
- Maintain detailed procurement records, update order management systems, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement management, or automotive parts sourcing within a dealership or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, OEM parts, and automotive repair processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse management practices, logistics inventory management, shipping & receiving procedures, and equipment repair operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as AS400 or similar order management platforms; experience with CMMS is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive parts and accessories combined with excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Valid forklift certification or warehouse experience is preferred; familiarity with HVAC or auto body repair is a bonus.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
