Project Manager – Electrical Power Systems
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our growing team. This full-time position is available immediately and offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager and Senior Project Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing. You will be responsible for managing electrical power distribution projects from order release through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate is an organized problem solver with strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. Experience with electrical power systems or electrical distribution equipment is considered a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple electrical distribution projects from project kickoff through completion.
- Review engineering submittals for technical accuracy, contractual compliance, and completeness prior to customer submission.
- Review returned submittals, evaluate customer comments, and coordinate revisions with engineering and production teams.
- Interpret contract documents and technical specifications to ensure product compliance.
- Prepare and process change orders, quotations, and pricing adjustments as required.
- Coordinate the completion of short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies with external professional engineering consultants.
- Release equipment for manufacturing and coordinate production schedules with the in-house shop.
- Coordinate equipment deliveries with customers and internal departments.
- Enter and maintain project information within the company's ERP/project management system.
- Conduct occasional site visits to support project execution and customer needs.
- Provide post-sales support, including technical assistance, warranty coordination, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) documentation.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and customers to resolve technical and project-related issues.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Verify project billing is accurate and complete.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and effectively.
- Represent the company with professionalism in all interactions with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electrical power systems, switchgear, motor control centers, or electrical distribution equipment.
- Previous project management experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or construction environment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
