Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems.
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling services using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Art Therapy, and other treatment modalities.
- Deliver specialized counseling services for anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, grief, chronic pain, and other behavioral health concerns.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to provide quality patient care while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment records, and CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Participate in case management and treatment coordination activities.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes mental wellness and personal growth.
QualificationsRequired:
- Active Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) License or Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern License in good standing.
- Strong clinical assessment and psychotherapy skills.
- Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT coding, and clinical documentation standards.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and telehealth services.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, or geriatric populations.
- Experience treating trauma, PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, and behavioral health conditions.
- Knowledge of motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, and social work principles.
- Experience in outpatient mental health settings.
