Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled, part-time Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance in our grocery store. This role is responsible for ensuring the store’s equipment, fixtures, and facilities are in safe and working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs on store equipment, lighting, plumbing, and fixtures.
- Complete construction and painting projects as assigned.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from store management.
- Assist with basic HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical system checks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with safety standards.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs, if needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role required.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Work Schedule:
- Part-time; flexible hours including mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
